Ulster has taken positive attributes associated with being family owned established and combined them with a forward thinking, global approach to business.  The result is a technology advanced, service driven company with a flair, flexibility and a passion for quality.
 
 Abingdon Flooring is the UK's largest privately owned manufacturer of quality carpets. A British based company with facilities in South Wales, the Midlands and the North of England. Currently producing in excess of nine million square metres of carpet per annum. This is enough carpet to get you to the USA and back every year!

 Adam Carpets have been manufacturing carpets in Kidderminster for over 80 years. During that time, the brand has become synonymous for its high quality products, its innovation and its vast colourbank.  
At Adam Carpets they are proud to say that every single colour, of every single range that they sell, is made at the Adam Carpets factory in Kidderminster.
 
 In 1937 Axminster relaunched carpet manufacturing in the town of Axminster. This was the renaissance of 'Axminsters from Axminster'. Axminster Carpets continues the proud tradition of making the finest carpets in the world.
Today Axmisnter Carpets still weaving beautiful designed carpets in the Devon town of Axminster for the royal household, stately homes, luxury hotels and homes around the world.
 
 Brockway have been designing and producing premium quality carpets in Kidderminster since 1964. the business is family-run with a skilled and experienced workforce who combine real craftsmanship with the latest environmentally-aware technology and finest raw materials to create innovative, beautiful and desirable floor coverings.  
Brockway manufacture in their own factory, therefore they have much more control and influence over the choice of raw materials and designs that make up a Brockway carpet.
 
Associated Weavers (AW) is one of the biggest producers of tufted broadloom carpet in Europe.

 Established over 40 years ago, Penthouse Carpets are renowned for manufacturing luxurious wood-rich, twist-pile, tufted carpets.

 Mayfield Carpets is based in Rochdale.  Using Bristish wool and a quality natural jute backing Mayfield adopts the latest developments in yarn technology to product a range of products offering the very best in quality.

 
One of the success stories of the British carpet industry, Lancashire based Cormar Carpets was established in the North of England in 1956 and today ranks as one of the leading British carpet manufacturers in the UK.
As one of the few privately owned family carpet companies, Cormar's primary aim is to manufacture quality carpets and provide a first class service to all it's customers.

 
The founder of Cavalier Carpets began selling carpet to homeowners from a market stall, then began building a reputation as a leading British manufacturer in the early seventies.

 Ryalux was founded in 1970 by William Lomas.

 Thomas Witter Carpets, 'creators of fine carpet' are one of the oldest and most respected carpet manufacturers in the UK.
Thomas Witter's strength is in creating carpet that covers all tastes and budgets, for all domestic requirements. From heavy weight Luxury Berbers in British Wool, to entry level priced twists in over 320 colour, quality and width options.

 
 Established in 1895 Victoria Carpets has grown to become one of Britain's best known and well respected carpet brands.
Manufacturing all types and qualities of tufted products, produced in wool, wool mix and man-made fibres which cover a wide selection of styles and price points. Victoria Carpets are also one of a few companies who still produce woven Wilton carpets.

 
 Established in 1991, Hartlepool based Whitestone Weavers/ Hugh Mackay offer a wide range of high quality, well priced wovan and tufted carpets.  The business operates in the mid to higher end of the retail market place.
Whitestone Weavers/ Hugh Mackay design their own Axminster and tufted ranges which are manufactured in their state of the art facilities in the UK and Europe.  All of their products use the finest British wool blends and their highly advanced production methods mean that they can offer some 650+ different colour options.
 
 With their roots firmly planted in the sheep farming and textile heartland of West Yorkshire Westex Carpets' contemporary approach draws on their industrial heritage and traditional wool industry.  A private company, Westex Carpets was originally the concept of a master dyer who wanted to offer a wider range if colour and quality within carpet manufacture.
